Originally an outreach effort of the historic Zion Spring Baptist Church, The Springboard Enrichment Center was established in 2010 in response to the needs in our community for creative, artistic, and educational enrichment. Our goal is to address the spiritual as well as academic and physical needs of our children here in the North Avondale community of Birmingham, Alabama. We strive to educat

e and enrich lives while demonstrating the love of God in practical ways. Through these efforts we continue to affirm our commitment to humbly carry out God'’s great command to ‘love thy neighbor as thyself.’
