Last weekend 4 of our SNDA members attended the Student National Dental Association’s Annual Convention in Orlando, FL. (L to R)
Kandis Carter (D3) former National Director of Regional Communications was appointed to the position of National Member at Large. Kandis was also awarded the Allison P. Riddle-Fletcher Memorial Scholarship.
Mark Abere (D4) was officially installed as the National President of the Student National Dental Association.
Athena Kenny (D3) served as the Delegate for the UAB SNDA Chapter.
Raymond Dawkins (D3) former National Treasurer-Elect was officially installed as the National Treasurer of SNDA.
We are so proud of our amazing members, and look forward to a fantastic school year!

THESE SENIORS will be SO MISSED. We know they're on to bigger and better things, but that doesn't make it any easier. Yesterday we spent an afternoon honoring them and thanking them for all their leadership, inspiration, and mentoring. Thank you Dr. Robinson for hosting us on such a beautiful afternoon.

Bring in your tote bags! We're collecting tote bags and wallets for local shelters. They've asked us to help their guests carry their belongings, so please bring in any extras you have! Collection box is in Greer.

We had a great day with Alabama ASDA and UAB Pediatric Dentistry helping Give Kids a Smile! February is National Children's Dental Health Month, and today's event was a fun way to bring it to a close. Every year we host undergraduate students interested in a career in dentistry for a chance to explore what it's like to be a dental student. This year was a great success thanks to good planning and all our volunteers.
