🎓 The 2026 UNCF Alabama Walk for Education is happening Saturday, August 22, 2026 and we’re walking with purpose!
Led by Casi Ferguson, Area Director for UNCF Alabama and Mississippi, this year’s walk aims to raise more than $50,000 to provide scholarships, educational resources, and life-changing opportunities for deserving students.
Students, alumni, organizations, community leaders, and supporters from across Alabama will come together with one mission: investing in brighter futures through education. The energy, passion, and commitment to making a difference will be unforgettable!

For the Month of April, we are proud to highlight the incredible Dr. Tracey Morant Adams, Ph.D.!
Dr. Morant Adams is a nationally respected executive, strategist, and civic leader whose life's work sits at the intersection of strategy, service, and community transformation. As Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Community Development & CSR Officer at Renasant Bank, she leads a $10.3 billion Community Benefits Plan and champions equitable access to opportunity every single day.
A devoted advocate for HBCUs and first-generation college students, her commitment to UNCF's mission is both personal and powerful. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Talladega College Board of Trustees and is the proud recipient of an endowed scholarship established in her honor by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
A true trailblazer — she is the first African-American woman to serve as President of the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham and has dedicated nearly four decades to uplifting her community.
