Play Pals

MOMMAS, let’s celebrate!!! Our last Play Pals class is tomorrow🥲 and I would love to see you all there!!! We will start RIGHT AT 9:30! We will be taking Polaroid pictures as part of our craft & we will have sensory tables set up too! Then, we will do our normal circle time with all of our favorite songs!! Then, we transition outside to the pavilion for a BOUNCE HOUSE, POPSICLES, and special snacks!!! I can’t wait to see you there!!

Three years ago, I was asked to start a small group at the best church ever (Metropolitan Church). I thought about what I could do, and realized that at the end of the day, I was a momma, who longed for a community of other momma friends to do life with.

So I pitched a vision to the church, and they were SO supportive! We started meeting weekly & opened up our class to the community. What happened next was truly amazing! Our group grew & grew & grew.

Over these past 3 years, we have celebrated each other, shared our motherhood struggles, grieved in the hard times, and welcomed so many cute new babies to the group!

I am forever thankful for the opportunity y’all have given me to lead this group. 😭 There’s nothing that makes my heart happier than to see all my little friends dancing on Monday morning & watching all you mommas have a chance to form friendships. Motherhood feels so much less lonely when you have people in your corner, and this group brought that to my life personally.

As I announced in our GroupMe chat & in our class this morning, our routine is changing a bit in the fall, and I will no longer be able to lead Play Pals. While this is bittersweet news, I am excited for this next chapter with my family.

So what does all this mean? We will only have TWO remaining Play Pals classes left (Monday, April 27 & Monday, May 4). We are going to end Play Pals with a fun party to celebrate so PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING! 🎉❤️ If you want to bring a fun snack to share, please feel free to do so! And please help us share the word to anyone who may not follow this page/ be in our GroupMe!

Again, thank you so much mommas for letting me have a chance to lead this group. I love you guys & your little ones so much.
