2 of the top 10 (Kate Moore and Walter Hungerpiller) were Saint Rose Academy alumni as well as the National Merit Scholar! Congratulations to Kate Moore for winning the Math award (thank you, Mrs. Hensley!) as well as the Mary, Mother of Grace award for her beautiful virtue. So many awesome awards and honors received yesterday! May God bless all the graduates!

John Carroll Catholic High School senior, Jean-Paul Plaisance, has been named a 2026 National Merit Finalist! Jean-Paul is the son of Benjamin and Moira Plaisance of Mountain Brook, AL, and a proud graduate of Saint Rose Academy (K-8th grade), class of 2022.
Approximately 15,000 high school seniors have been named 2026 National Merit Finalists based on their application, essay, and ACT/SAT scores. The mission of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is to recognize and honor the academically talented students of the United States. NMSC achieves its mission through nationwide academic scholarship programs.
