Urgent Update to Highway 280 Access during Pumphouse Road Demolition.

Free EMS CME class presented by UAB Burn Center at Springville Fire Department on Saturday, March 7. Special thanks to Dale Trottier at Davis Lake Fire District for helping to coordinate this opportunity. CME will be offered for all EMSP levels.

Congratulations to our seven students on successfully completing our EMT Academy, which concluded last night!

These students have dedicated themselves to an intensive program consisting of 144 hours of lecture and hands-on skills training, followed by 48 hours of clinical rotations. Since October, they have committed their Monday and Wednesday evenings to reaching this milestone.

They are now eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Exam and, upon passing, will become licensed EMTs.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to serving others. Thank you to everyone who helped make this academy possible and supported these students along the way.

Congratulations to Lee Morton on his retirement as a full-time ATCC Communicator. Lee has served BREMSS and the Alabama Trauma and Stroke Systems for 20 years. Sleep at night and enjoy the golf course Lee!
