Please join us as we welcome Grace Dellis-Wyatt to our team as our Manager, Operations and Communications!
"As a Montessorian and proponent of empowering communities through education, advocacy, and transformation, I'm thrilled to join an organization doing such important work for our people.
My work in the mental health sector taught me how critical it is to understand the unique needs of communities. My work and research in Montessori pedagogy reminded me that the future is only as secure as our children, and preparing them for lives of purpose requires investment in and connection to their learning environments.
Joining Teach For America Alabama means getting to see what happens when these two paths meet. The vision, capacity, and people of TFA Alabama already astound me, and I'm honored to join the work our team is doing to ensure that one day, all children will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education."

Chrystal stepped into her role at West End Academy because she wanted to be the kind of teacher who changes kids’ lives. Prior to teaching at the school, she had a student who attended school at West End Academy. She has already seen so much growth in her first year and is proud of how far she’s come.
Her goals are twofold: help students believe in themselves and grow stronger in her own instructional practice along the way.

Cody brings the same enthusiasm to Francis-Marion that he once brought to CityYear Kansas City. Working with students has always been a joy for him, and this year has helped him grow as an educator.
His hope is that every student leaves his classroom thinking like a scientist—curious, capable, and confident.
