Today's highlight is of Marquel Patterson. He's a 2025 alumni of the academy and was just recognized as being named to the Freshman President's Awards list for Alabama A&M University. Marquel is a freshman honors student currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and academic excellence our graduates commit to even after they leave Ramsay High School, IB World Studies . We are extremely proud of you, Marquel, and can't wait to see the great things you will continue to accomplish! 💙🤍❤️🤍

Several weeks ago, the junior students were afforded the opportunity to travel down to "The Plains" and participate in Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Engineering Day. Students learned about Auburn University admissions, the paper making process, computer science, software engineering, and other STEM fields of study. They were able to meet and talk to Academy alumni and even had the opportunity to meet one of Mrs. Sibley's former Chemical Engineering professors. It was a day full of networking and engagement! 💙🤍💙🧡

A huge congratulations goes to Ramsay High School, IB World Studies and Academy of Engineering alumni Janiah Rutledge (class of 2023) and Sydnee Allen (class of 2025) for recently being named Student of the Year and Freshman Student of the Year, respectively, in the College of Engineering at TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY ! Janiah is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Sydnee is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. We are EXTREMELY proud of you and wish you continued success in your academic endeavors! We are RAM PROUD! 💙🤍❤️💛

Anytown Alabama will be June 7-13, 2026, on the campus of UAB. While campgrounds have served the program for decades, the college setting allows opportunities for students to experience campus life while developing leadership, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making skills.

Our tenth grade AOE students had a blast at the University of Alabama’s “E-Day” event! They participated in hands-on demonstrations, talked with the Dean of the College of Engineering, toured the engineering labs, and as an added bonus they engaged in a campus tour led by the University Capstone Men and Women student leaders. They had a jam-packed day, but enjoyed every minute! College exposure can never start too early!! Roll Tide!! The University of Alabama
