Great Morning of our final SAA 2014 Outdoor Championships hosted by Hendrix College and in the history of

What a joy to be reminded of the incredible history made by our program since the inaugural season of this conference. To see that we still have 8️⃣ SAA Outdoor Track & Field Conference Meet records that stand in 2024, speaks volumes and is never taken for granted.

We will finish strong today, do our very best in all of the events that we are blessed to compete in and represent and our families in the greatest way. It’s what we do and who we have been created to be.

I’m grateful to join our family members, students and those from the Birmingham community as we watched and had discussion on the Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth documentary and his life!

Today was a great day because of all of you, so we give thanks!! It’s amazing to be reminded about what is most important in life, and to take time to truly enjoy the moments that are so precious.

It doesn’t cost anything to say “hello” or to ask “how are you doing?” (and mean it) but so often we get caught up in what we perceive as being “too busy” that we don’t reflect on the value of our lives.

At our away meet for the Tiger Invitational, we were visited and cheered on by a number of parents and also siblings/classmates of which made our entire meet experience like no other.

The real all-stars of the day are each you (parents, family, friends, supporters) that pray for us and truly hold each of us up - through the years.
