Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. We are forever grateful.

On Thursday, our Private Pre-K classroom celebrated their graduation! 🎓✨

We are so proud of all they have learned, the memories they have made, and the growth we have watched throughout the year. From learning through play to building friendships and confidence, these little graduates are ready for their next big adventure. ❤️

🎓✨ On Tuesday night, our very first First Class Pre-K class had the opportunity to showcase everything they have learned throughout the year! We are beyond proud of how much they have grown academically, socially, and emotionally. 💙

🦋 Our First Class Pre-K students had an amazing hands-on learning experience as we watched the butterfly life cycle right before our eyes and documented each stage in our journals along the way. Today we celebrated by releasing our butterflies! 🌿✨

📖 Our Butterfly Timeline:
• 4/21/26 – We received our tiny caterpillars 🐛
• 4/24/26 – They began forming their chrysalis
• 4/27/26 – They were completely in their chrysalis 🦋
• 5/12/26 – Our butterflies hatched!
• 5/20/26 – We released them into the world 🌸

This experience allowed our children to observe, predict, document, and explore science through real-life learning opportunities. Watching their excitement and curiosity grow throughout the process was so special! 💚

Today our dancers got to showcase everything they have been working so hard on all year at their dance recital, and they did an amazing job! We are so proud of their confidence, growth, and the joy they brought to the stage. Your AIM Academy of Trussville dancers truly shined today! 💃✨

Science & Art in Action! 🧽🎨
Today we became scientists and artists! We explored cause and effect, textures, and color mixing during sponge painting. This hands-on activity builds fine motor skills while encouraging curiosity, observation, and sensory exploration. So much learning through play!

🧪🌈Color Mixing Experiment🔬✨

Our Preschool 1 scientists explored colors through hands-on experimentation using droppers and liquid colors! The children observed how colors changed when mixed together while practicing fine motor skills, prediction making, and scientific exploration through play 💡🎨

There were LOTS of surprised faces during today’s discoveries 😆🌈

Our Preschool Transition class had a wonderful time exploring their handmade butterfly wings. The children proudly wore their wings, talked about the different colors they saw, and used their words to describe their beautiful creations while building language and social skills. 🦋

Our Toddler 1 classroom had an amazing day using their words, building language skills, and talking about healthy fruits and vegetables! The children did a wonderful job identifying different foods, practicing communication, and engaging in meaningful conversations with their teachers and friends. We love watching our little learners grow through hands-on conversations and everyday learning experiences. 🍎🥕💬

Our Infant 1 and Infant 2 classrooms had an amazing day of learning through play! From mirror play and stacking blocks to ball play, feeding babies, tummy time, and practicing independent sitting—our little learners were busy building important developmental skills while having so much fun. Every moment is an opportunity to grow at AIM Academy of Trussville 💕
