Red Ribbon Week 2025: Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free! 🧩

Join ESS Alabama in celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 23–31, 2025, as we unite to promote a drug-free lifestyle. This year's theme, "Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free," reminds us that every choice we make is a piece that contributes to the bigger picture of our future. Together, we can build a brighter, healthier tomorrow—one positive decision at a time.

How You Can Participate:
🔴 Wear Red: Show your support by wearing red throughout the week.
🔴 Share Your Story: Post photos or videos of your red attire or activities using the hashtag .
🔴 Engage Students: Encourage students to participate in themed dress days, classroom discussions, or creative projects centered around the theme.
🔴 Spread Awareness: Distribute Red Ribbon Week materials like posters, bookmarks, and wristbands to reinforce the message.

🚦🚌 National School Bus Safety Week | Oct 20–24 🚌🚦

Nationwide, passing a school bus when it is stopped is illegal and poses a deadly risk to bus riders and students. Drivers should always come to a complete stop when a school bus's stop-arm is extended and its red lights are flashing.

Make sure to give the school bus plenty of room, don't stop right at the school bus. Once the bus has closed it's doors and turned off it's lights, look around to make sure all children are out of the road before taking off.

🚍✨ National School Bus Safety Week | Oct 20–24, 2025 ✨🚍

This week, we’re shining a light on the importance of keeping our students safe while traveling to and from school. 💛 Every day, millions of children ride the bus—and we all play a part in making sure they get there safely!

Tips for Students Riding the Bus:
✅ Stay seated while the bus is moving
✅ Keep the aisle clear of backpacks & belongings
✅ Always wait for the bus to stop before standing
✅ Look both ways before crossing the street 🚦

Together, we can keep our students safe on the road. 🚌 Make sure to talk with your students about the importance of school bus safety.
