Electrician vs Lawyer...

Torque matters. Are you following NEC 110.14(D)?

Every day, electricians overlook one of the most common—and costly—code violations: improper torque on electrical connections. Did you know that even a perfectly stripped wire can fail an inspection if the connection isn’t torqued to spec?

The National Electrical Code is clear. NEC 110.14(D) requires EVERY connection to be torqued using a calibrated tool, not just 'hand tight.' This simple step can prevent overheating, arcing, and failed inspections.

Want to see the right way to torque a connection? Check out our latest video for a hands-on demo and practical tips you can use on your next job.
