We’ve got TWO students on the Flight Crew!

We are incredibly proud to share that two Legacy Builders Academy students, Matthew Chandler and Phillip Williams, have been selected for the Alabama Expanded Learning Alliance’s 2026 STEM Flight Crew, joining just 10 other students from across the state!

The STEM Flight Crew gives students hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while strengthening problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Students also gain exposure to STEM careers, industry professionals, and real-world applications of what they’re learning.

This is what we mean when we talk about learning beyond the classroom! We’re committed to giving our students opportunities to discover their gifts, expand their networks, and see possibilities for their futures.

There’s something magical about the first day of school!

We are incredibly grateful to begin another year at Legacy Builders Academy with 100% student re-enrollment AND the joy of welcoming two new students into our LBA family!

One of my greatest joys is watching our students grow, not just academically, but into confident young people preparing for what comes next. This year our high school students are stepping into new levels of independence by preparing for the ACT, taking Driver’s Ed, exploring their future careers, and your middle schoolers are proving that they too are ready for more rigor and responsibility.

They’re growing up right before our eyes, and we’re so grateful that we get to be part of the journey.

Happy Last Day of School!
We made it through another incredible year filled with growth, learning, laughter, and memories. Now it’s time to enjoy a well-earned break and celebrate all that was accomplished this year.
