in this lesson you will learn about the situations in the past that require the use of the Spanish imperfect and also the use of the Spanish preterite. As most people know, the Spanish preterite is used to talk about completed actions in the past, and also about actions in the past that happened in a sequence but when it comes to the imperfect, we us it to talk about routines, habits, and repeated actions that happened in the past over and over again. We also use the imperfect to describe people or things in the past. We are going to see many examples that will help us better understand the Spanish imperfect tense and also the preterite tense. You will also find out how many irregular verbs are there in the imperfect. As we all know that when it come to the preterite tense, there are many irregular verbs. In this lesson you will overcome one of the problem that most Spanish students face. The Spanish adjectives and nouns are problem for students, special if your native tongue is English. In the English language the noun comes after the adjective, but in the Spanish language, the adjective comes after the noun. There are some situations when the adjective is placed in front of the noun in Spanish, but sometimes the adjective can change its meaning when it is placed in front of a noun. The Spanish nouns can be very confusing because in the Spanish language every noun has a gender. That is why one of the best way to overcome the gender of a noun in Spanish is to learn the definite article of a noun every time you learn a new noun. There are four definite articles and four indefinite articles in the Spanish language and understand how the definite and the indefinite articles work with the nouns will make you better understand how to overcome your problems with the Spanish gender, the Spanish nouns, the Spanish articles and best of all the Spanish language. The Spanish imperfect and preterite tense can be very challenging, especially if you are new to the Spanish language. On this lesson my main focus was on the Spanish preterite more so than the Spanish preterite. when it comes to the Spanish preterite, it is good to know when to use it and when not to use it. One of the way to know when to use the Spanish preterite , is to know that we use the preterite for actions that happened in the past and were completed in the past. Now this explanation is not bad, but the problem is that it doesn't help you in many situation. The best way to confront the Spanish preterite is to know that if you are going to say " I was" or " I use to " then don't use the preterite. In this lesson I showed the conjugation of the Spanish stem changing-irregular verbs in the present tense. When it comes to conjugating the stem changing-irregular verbs, there are no formula like when it comes to conjugating the regular verbs. Since there are no formula in the Spanish language when it comes to conjugating the stem changing-irregular verbs, what I did to make it easy was giving the conjugation of the 10 most common used stem changing-irregular verbs in the present tense. The irregular verbs can be intimidated at first but once you get used to it, it can be very easy to understand.

In this lesson I showed the difference between the conjugation of the Spanish yo-irregular verbs and the regular verbs in the present tense. When it comes to conjugating the Yo-irregular verbs, there are no formula like when it comes to conjugating the regular verbs.
