America's Ministry Leadership University

Where students are called, transformed, and sent to lead. A Life of Eternal Impact

Highlands College students are heading out on Cross-Cultural Ministry Trips this summer! 🌍 Swipe to see where they’re going. 👀

As a key part of their ministry training, 154 students and leaders will serve alongside local churches and global ministry partners in 11 countries this summer, including post-Christian regions and areas within the 10/40 Window.

These experiences allow students to put their training into practice as they step into new cultures, support long-term ministry, share the Gospel, and grow in their understanding of God’s heart for the nations, all while gaining firsthand experience in cross-cultural ministry.

We invite you to join us in praying for every student and leader as they go.

💬 Students, what are you most expectant for this summer?

The world needs leaders who are Called, Transformed, and Sent to Lead. This is why we do what we do. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." (Luke 10:2) 🌎

"Our dream is not only that you'd come but that you'd be sent." — Chancellor Chris Hodges

Big things are happening at our NEW Residence Hall! 👀

Watching this vision develop has been incredible. This new space means more students will have the opportunity to answer the call God has on their lives and attend America’s Ministry Leadership University. Here, they will experience the kind of community that shapes them for a lifetime.

A special thank you to the Green family for making this possible. Your transformational generosity is helping create opportunities for future leaders for generations to come. 🙌

The future at HC is looking brighter than ever!

Welcome to The Heights 🏠

The Heights is where students build daily rhythms, grow in community, and create memories that last far beyond their time on campus. From meaningful friendships to moments that shape their character, this residence hall plays a big part in helping students live set apart in every season of college life.

Which part of campus should we feature next? 👇

They’re not just preparing for ministry someday; they’re living it out right now. ⛪

Every week, students get the opportunity to lead, serve, and be part of what God is doing through the local church. From worship and production to kids ministry and hospitality, they’re not just learning about ministry in the classroom, they’re actively putting it into practice and strengthening the church.

Here's what some of our students love about their Church of the Highlands campus.

The HC journey isn't just for students—it's for the whole family. 🤍

From the late-night calls home to the moments and memories you can't stop talking about, every step of this journey is better together.

Welcome to the Larson Knoll 🤍

The Larson Knoll is a sacred space intentionally built in memory of Mr. Gary Larson, whose deep commitment to prayer and gift for architecture are reflected throughout campus. Created as a place for prayer, silence, and solitude, this peaceful space stands as a reminder of the power found in quiet moments with God and the lasting impact of a life devoted to prayer.

More than just a place on campus, the Larson Knoll invites students to pause, reflect, and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.

What part of campus do you want to see next?

Sent to Lead 🎓🌎

Derek Curtis (Class of 2018) is leading one of the Twin Rivers Church campuses in St. Louis, helping people take steps toward Jesus and making an eternal impact in his community every week.

Through the challenges, growth, and hands-on ministry opportunities he experienced at Highlands College, Derek was equipped to lead with vision, faith, and purpose.

Stories like Derek’s remind us that the impact of America’s Ministry Leadership University extends far beyond graduation; it reaches cities, churches, and lives around the world.
