Downtown Youth Center - YMCA of Greater Birmingham Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, body and mind.

The YMCA Downtown Youth Center opened in 2006 as the result of a dream to serve Birmingham’s young people in a Y built specifically for them. Following the largest capital campaign in this YMCA’s history, the downtown Birmingham facility was built and endowed for generations to come.
