๐โ๏ธ Meet our Leaders! โ๏ธ๐
Mr. Bo Garrett, Elementary School Principal at Cornerstone, joined our team this past summer. While he is new to our school, he is not new to the world of education! After finishing a military career in the USMC Reserves, Mr. Garrett attended Birmingham-Southern College, later completing the teacher certification program at the University of North Alabama. Mr. Garrett eventually worked at Highlands School for many years, then i3 Academy. During his time at Highlands, he was able to complete two graduate degrees in Educational Leadership, one at Columbia University and one at UAB.
We have quickly learned that Mr. Garrett fiercely loves Jesus, his family, and strong coffee! He also enjoys soccer, cycling, swimming, and college football.
When we asked Mr. Garrett what he looked forward to this year, he said, "I look forward to getting to know everyone, especially the students and their families." Join us in welcoming Mr. Garrett to the team!

Over the last several weeks, we have been blessed to have countless volunteers help with back-to-school projects. Today, our friends spent time knocking the last few to-dos off our list and we couldnโt feel more thankful.
