Before we can share all the great fun and knowledge TRIO Teach will offer this year, we have to share where it all started——at In-Service Learning. With the theme 'It's a Process,' Cyanotype process art and candle-making got our gears turning for the task at hand, and by the end of the day, we had a vision for the academic year, even leaving with a couple of goodies to take home. We can't wait to share what we thought up!

The TRIO Teach train is moving and today’s stop was our Financial Literacy series where scholars not only learned key concepts to funding their college journey at UAB but also post grad concepts about the importance of their credit score/ paying off loans/and other FREE money management services offered through AMFirst . Thanks AMFirst downtown Birmingham.

This enchanting event not only showcased elegance but also celebrated the rich legacy of TRIO at UAB. Joining the festivities meant honoring a tradition of excellence and fostering a sense of community amid the National First Generation Celebration.

All 9 UAB TRIO Programs and CCAMPIS warmly welcomed students on the Green, setting the stage for an unforgettable event featuring food trucks and a lively DJ, creating an atmosphere of community and celebration.
