Our talented student musicians recently had the opportunity to shine at the Reading Phillies game! 🎶⚾

Select members of the DBAMS 5th & 6th Grade Bands performed during the pre-game Community Music Showcase, sharing their musical talents with fans before the first pitch.

Adding to the excitement, members of the DBAIC 4th Grade Chorus proudly sang the National Anthem, delivering a memorable performance in front of a packed stadium.

We are so proud of these students for representing Daniel Boone with excellence and showcasing the power of music in our schools!

The 2026 Marching Blazers kickoff meeting is TONIGHT, Monday 5/18, at 7 PM in the HS band room. Enter through door 5 (front of building). This meeting is open to all incoming 8 - 12th grade students!

It is recommended that parents attend this meeting with their students, especially if it is your first year with the band. We will cover the following topics:

Show theme
Important show/football dates
Band camp
Regular rehearsals
Financial/time commitments
How to support the band’s endeavors
And most importantly, how to become a member!

Marching band is a phenomenal opportunity for all students to be part of the legacy of musical excellence here at Boone as well as shape the community, make new friends, transition from middle to high school, and so much more. Please note, attending this meeting DOES NOT commit you to being in the band, but it is a great opportunity to learn more about the Marching Blazers!!!

🎶🏆 A day to remember for our DBAMS 8th Grade Band & Chorus! 🏆🎶

Both groups took the stage on Friday morning for the Music in the Parks competition, performing for a panel of judges—and they truly delivered! Their hard work and talent shined through, earning each group a 1st place finish with ratings of Excellent! 👏

After their outstanding performances, students celebrated with a well-deserved day of fun at Hersheypark 🎢

Congratulations to our incredible student musicians and directors on this amazing achievement—we are so proud! 💙🎵
