During the summer, our teachers often take advantage of opportunities to continue their own learning so that our students receive the best instructional resources. For example, Mrs O'Halloran attended a summer workshop on July 30th by the Minnesota Historical Society about 6th grade social studies. Mrs. O said, "Teachers from around the area participated in student activities and were able to collaborate and exchange ideas with one another. A representative from Jeffers Petroglyphs historical site was also present to give us information on what they offered. It was time well spent!"

Are you interested in chaperoning a field trip this year? Are you going on the DC/NYC trip in May with your 7th or 8th grader? Would you like to join our sub list? If so, you will need to be VIRTUS session trained and a session is being offered in Olivia on Sunday, September 13th from 1- 4 p.m at the the Jubilee Center.

Our second month of summer has flown by and so our staff checked in again from their summer vacations! At the end of the school year mass, Father George tasked us with three things - In June, we checked in on the first - read 3 books. For July, our second mission was to not take a vacation from God. Here is what our staff shared with us! Whether it is time spent in prayer, attending mass, or serving God in various ministries, staff shared different moments from July!
