We are back at our home base this week, and even though we are taking the week off from school, I still have school on the brain.

I snagged my Romeo and Juliet binder (from my student teacher days) to begin prepping for a unit study next year.

The Bigs picked Romeo and Juliet (which actually surprised me) to study.

I'm taking a unique approach, and will be creating a unit study/workbook where students are analyzing thebolay forensically rather than simply reading and analyzing the text.

🇺🇸 We finished up our Independence Day Unit this week 🇺🇸

We learned about
🎆 Electricity with ➕/➖ charges & Atoms

🎇 Founding Fathers (Ben Franklin, George Washington, and more)

🎆 Skills of Debate as loyalists and patriots

Plus fun food and crafting along the way by:
- Making Ink
- Making Quills
- Our Own declarations

So much in such a short unit.
