University Archives fall 2026 exhibit "Design + Function: Creative Images in Archives" is now on display at Bartle Library North Reading Room.

"Design + Function" is an exhibit featuring visual works from the University Archives collections dated between the 1950s-90s. Featured items cover everything from fine illustration to the graphic arts, and our selection includes yearbooks, comics, student publications, event programs, logos, and costume design.

This past Wednesday, we held our annual Libraries Fall Kickoff! The day was filled with updates to prepare us for the year and guest remarks from Anne D’Alleva and Provost Hall.

Special thanks to Jon Hulbert from Roadmap 4 Change who led our keynote sessions and to our colleagues throughout the Libraries and campus who led professional development breakout sessions.

The new academic year kicks off next week and we are ready! 📚✨

Intersession 2 runs from Saturday, August 8 through Monday, August 17. See our hours here or on our website. ⏰

Please note the Libraries will be closed Wednesday, August 12 for our Professional Development Day.

If you have returns you need to make, know that you can utilize the return bins outside all locations.

All Libraries locations, along with the University campus, will be closed Friday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.

Join us for our Binghamton HistoryForge sessions throughout the summer!

HistoryForge is a digital project that maps Binghamton's history using transcribed census records to create an open access interactive map. All are welcome and refreshments will be provided!

3:30 - 5 p.m. June 5, July 10, and August 7 at Bartle Library.
6 - 8 p.m. June 18, July 23, and August 20 at the Phelps Mansion Museum.
