In an effort to support students studying for finals, Transportation and Parking Services will lift the overnight parking restriction for all non-pay, surface lots on Monday, May 4 through Thursday, May 14.

Commuters or residents with a valid parking permit will be allowed to park in these spaces overnight.

Resident vehicles must be removed from commuter lots by 5 a.m. the following day. All paid and metered spaces are still in effect.

TAPS is partnering with Big E Tire to offer a complimentary vehicle safety check on Tuesday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lot F for students, faculty, and staff.

The Big E Tire team will inspect essential components such as fluid levels, tire condition, and lights to help keep your vehicle in top shape. Each check takes about 10 minutes, and no reservation is required.

Take advantage of this quick, free service and make sure your vehicle is road-ready before heading home for summer break!

Tired of circling parking lots looking for a spot? Skip the hassle and head straight to Lot G1. With plenty of available spaces, you’ll save time and get to class stress-free.

Also, Lot G1 is great for incorporating more sustainable measures into everyday life! When the lot was opened in 2018, these sustainability features were added:
• A stormwater management system
• LED lighting with motion sensors
• Tree plantings for shade
• A wetland fo filter and manage runoff

Park smarter (and more sustainable).
