Heading to the Delaware County Fair in Walton? Visit the New York State Police and make sure that your child's car seat is properly installed! We will be there every day through Saturday, August 22 from 12pm-7pm.

Last week, **15 dedicated professionals became newly trained Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs)!** 🎉🚗👶

Members from law enforcement, ambulance services, and community agencies completed a challenging four-day training and are now ready to help educate families and caregivers on how to safely transport children.

A special congratulations to our newest instructor, **Ed Hlebica from the Broome County Sheriff's Office**, who successfully completed his instructor candidacy and will now join our teaching team! 👏

Our CPSTs are looking forward to serving you and helping keep our youngest passengers safe. ❤️

⚠️ Parents, let’s talk e-bikes & e-scooters! ⚠️

These popular rides can be FUN—but they can also be dangerous for young riders. Speeding, ignoring traffic laws, and skipping a helmet can lead to serious injuries. 🚑

🚨 Law enforcement is increasing efforts to keep our community safe.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Do your part—know the laws and talk to your kids.

✅ Riders must be **at least 16 years old** to operate an e-bike or e-scooter
🪖 Always wear a helmet
🚦 Follow all traffic rules—every ride, every time
