On April 1st, we celebrated 39 years of our dojo—and since then, I’ve been reflecting on what that truly means..
As Sensei, I can say this from the heart: this journey has never been about the years… it has always been about the people. To all of my students past and present, thank you. Thank you for your dedication, your discipline, and your trust. Thank you for showing up, for pushing through challenges, and for growing not only as martial artists, but as individuals. Each of you has left a mark on this dojo that will always remain.
To those who trained here years ago, you are the foundation of everything this dojo stands on today. The values you carried forward respect, honor, perseverance continue to live on. To those training with me now, you are the heart and the future of this dojo. Your commitment and spirit inspire me every single day.
Over 39 years, I have had the privilege of watching so many of you grow gaining confidence, strength, and character. Those moments mean more to me than any milestone ever could. And while I have been your Sensei, you have also taught me. You have given this dojo its soul and given my life a purpose I will always be grateful for. This post is simply to say thank you to all of you who have been part of this incredible journey.
I am proud to be your Sensei. 🙏
