Today, in partnership with Binghamton University Residential Life Apartments Community the Binghamton University Transfer Student Success office held our Ice Cream Social! We had over 200 returning and new transfer students come out to the Mandela Room and enjoy some delicious ice cream treats!

That’s a wrap! The Fall 2026 Transition and TRANSFERmation Summit came and went! What a great group of super engaged students!!

We started the day with conversations with some fantastic faculty and breakfast, then the students got a crash course in everything Fleishman Career Center followed by a great Q&A with the University Tutoring Center!

We then boarded a bus to take us to Ross Park Zoo and The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier for a fantastic “Taste of Binghamton” lunch and community service project! On campus for two days and our new transfers are already giving back to their new community! And of course…we ended with some delicious ice cream from Sugar Lips Ice Cream Shop!

What an incredible kick-off night at our Fall 2026 Transition and TRANSFERmation Summit!

47 dynamic, driven, and downright electric students came together for an evening that was nothing short of a blast. The energy in the room was unmatched.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to President Anne D'Alleva not just for sharing inspiring remarks, but for staying through dinner to truly connect and engage with our students! Your time, your energy, and your unwavering support for transfer students does not go unnoticed. It means the world to this community 💚

Here's to celebrating our transfer students and everything they bring to campus! Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow!

Last night, we held our final “Anyone Can Cook” program of the year! We were joined by Laura O’Neill from Fleishman Career Center, Binghamton University shared with us her Pasta E Fagioli recipe. We also had Michael, our Assistant Director, share with us a quick, easy, and fun dessert – dessert egg rolls.

Thank you for a fun year with our “Anyone Can Cook” programs! We look forward to continuing these in the fall!

Congratulations to our newest Tau Sigma members! We are 72 members stronger! While not all 72 could join us for thr ceremony, we are so excited to see all the great things in store for our local Alpha Omega Chapter!
