Binghamton University's Department of Social Work (SW) DEI Committee and the Institute for Justice and Well-Being celebrate women and call for an end to violence against them (cisgender, transgender, and those who hold fluid identities that are subject to gender-based violence). The SW DEI Committee and IJWB's RISE FOR FREEDOM event aims to INSPIRE, ASPIRE, and BUILD communities through strengthening solidarity through hearing guest speakers, sharing dreams, creating art, and learning about available local and campus resources. We aim to raise consciousness and honor all women.
