Staff/alumni shoutouts! Next up is Joy (Ivancie) Ousterout, class of '02.
After almost 25 years since graduating from Seton Catholic Central in 2002, Joy finds herself once again roaming familiar halls as she enters her 6th year with CSBC. She is the current TK teacher at St. James Catholic School and thanks her incredible experience as a CSBC student for the pull to come back and enroll her own children. The same feeling of family and community exists now, just as it did then and she is honored to be a part of it in a professional capacity. Joy has always felt indebted to her teachers for the amazing experience she had in school and has come to realize that the most valuable thing she can give back is the gift of her time. Joy has 3 young daughters all in the system and her husband just recently became a Saint as he has taken on the role of Boys Varsity Soccer Coach. Looking forward to an incredible year ahead - Go Saints!

Continuing with our staff/alumni shoutouts! Today we celebrate Celeste Savage ,class of '81.
"Before my time at Seton, I was an Alum of St. James Grammar School in Johnson City. You might say Catholic Schools of Broome County are in my blood! I have lifelong friends that I made in grammar school who traveled the halls of Seton with me. We get together as often as we can and stay in touch through frequent texts. I believe in the Catholic School System of Broome County. As a teacher of 41 years at St. John the Evangelist, I have seen the children we nurtured and educated become doctors, lawyers, teachers, priests, and religious sisters. I am proud of the heritage of our system, and I pray that the system will continue to provide excellence in education, but most importantly, a Christ-centered education where our Catholic faith is nurtured and handed on to the next generation of Catholics. Go Saints!"
