🏀❤️ A Special Day for the Lady Sharks! ❤️🏀
Today, our Lady Sharks had the incredible opportunity to hear from Former Miss Mississippi, Christine Merrill. She spent time speaking with our girls about the importance of self-confidence, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and developing a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
Christine shared valuable insights on building strong self-awareness, believing in yourself, setting goals, and understanding that success begins long before you step onto the court. She also demonstrated exercises and techniques our athletes can use to improve their overall strength and athletic performance.
Thank you, Christine Merrill, for investing your time, knowledge, and encouragement into our Lady Sharks. Your message will leave a lasting impact on these young athletes!

❤️🖤 NORTH WOOLMARKET SHARKS TAKE ON UCA CAMP 2026! 🖤❤️
What an incredible four days our North Woolmarket Cheerleaders had at UCA Camp in Hattiesburg! We could not be more proud of this team and all they accomplished through their hard work, dedication, commitment, persistence, and positive attitude throughout the week.
Our stunt groups were selected to train in the Elite Group, the highest level of stunt instruction offered at camp.
We were proud to earn a Spirit Stick every night of camp, recognizing our enthusiasm, teamwork, and Shark pride! We were honored to receive the Banana, a UCA tradition recognizing teams that demonstrate exceptional spirit, enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout camp.
Jump Off Participants:
Paizley, Anna Kelley, Elena, and Skyler
Pin It Forward Recipients (awarded to athletes recognized for leadership, kindness, and sportsmanship):
Gracie, Skyler, and Elena
UCA All-Americans (an honor recognizing outstanding cheerleading skills and leadership):
Aubrey, Elena, Eva, Paizley, and Skyler
We earned Blue Ribbons in both camp evaluations:
• Sideline & Cheer
• Dance & Pyramid
In the final competition, competing against 7 teams in our division and 19 junior high teams at camp, we earned:
🥇 1st Place Spirit Routine (Band Chant, Sideline & Cheer)
🥈 2nd Place Band Dance and Pyramid
These accomplishments are a direct reflection of the countless hours these athletes have spent preparing, learning new material, pushing through challenges, supporting one another, and giving their best effort every single day.
As coaches, we are incredibly proud of the growth we witnessed this week—not just in skills, but in leadership, confidence, teamwork, and determination. This team represented North Woolmarket with class, energy, and Shark pride everywhere they went.
The future is bright for this group, and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish this season!
