Twenty-five men and women have officially graduated from the 2019 inaugural Doctor of Physical Therapy program at William Carey University.

Students and faculty and staff from WCU School of Pharmacy , School of Nursing, and College of Osteopathic Medicine participated in a decontamination Drill at Forrest General Hospital Thursday morning. Students received a first-hand look at the setup for the decontamination area and got a scrub down after being “exposed” to a hazardous material (just makeup!!).

St. Dominic’s Palliative Care Services will present this two day program designed to provide nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals with information needed to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team providing quality care at the end of a patient’s life.
This course is based on the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium training model. It was developed through the work of nationally recognized palliative care experts with extensive input from an advisory board and reviewers.
