Hailey Windom is excited to join the Creekbend family and begin her journey as a classroom teacher! Her path in education reflects her dedication and passion for serving students. Hailey began her career as a cafeteria worker, advanced to cafeteria manager, and has spent the last four years as an assistant teacher.
A recent graduate of William Carey University, Hailey earned her Bachelorβs degree in Elementary Education and is eager to make a positive impact in the lives of her students. She is passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and personally while creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Creekbend Elementary & Middle School is excited to welcome Mrs. Rachel Landry to our middle school team as a Math teacher!
Mrs. Landry brings 4.5 years of teaching experience and two years of coaching experience to Creekbend. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop a love for learning, and reach their full potential. She is especially excited about the opportunities that come with teaching middle school math and looks forward to creating a classroom where students feel valued, engaged, and motivated to succeed.
Outside of school, Mrs. Landry is married and the proud mother of three boys who keep her busy and active. When sheβs not in the classroom, you can usually find her cheering on her boys at their activities, spending time with family, or enjoying sports.
Mrs. Landry is excited to build relationships with students, families, and staff and make a positive impact on the Creekbend community.

Makenzie Cochran is excited to begin her teaching career at Creekbend Elementary and Middle School! A recent graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, she is eager to bring her passion for learning and enthusiasm for education into the classroom.
Some of Mrs. Cochranβs favorite things include reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She is looking forward to building relationships with her students and making her first year of teaching a memorable one.

Mrs. Quave is excited to join the Creekbend family as she begins her sixth year in education and her first year as a Creekbend Eagle! She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2024 and has experience teaching middle school English Language Arts across Jackson County, Pascagoula-Gautier, and Harrison County.
Passionate about data-driven instruction, Mrs. Quave uses student achievement data to create engaging, multisensory learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners. She is committed to building a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and valued, and believes that every student is capable of growth and success.
Outside of school, Mrs. Quave enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with her husband and four children, and caring for her many pets.

Families are encouraged to register early to secure their student's enrollment and help us prepare for another successful year of learning and growth. The registration window is from June 11 to July 23.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to two donors for their generous support of Creekbend Elementary & Middle School!

Dr. LaQuita Gresham began her career as a Teach For America Corp member and teacher in charter schools in New Orleans. It was there that she taught with the ARISE and KIPP network as a middle and high school English teacher from 2014 - 2018. In the fall of 2018, she transitioned to the Coast and began teaching English and PSAT courses at Pass Christian High School where she received the honor of being named Teacher of the Year for two consecutive years. Next, she served as an Instructional Literacy Coach at Harrison Central High School.
Dr. Gresham earned a Bachelorβs in English Education (Secondary) from Southern Miss, a Masterβs in Education Administration from Louisiana State University, and a Doctorate in Leadership & Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
She and her husband have been married for 15 years with two young sons. She is very excited to return to the Harrison County School District and to join the Creekbend Family after having served as an Assistant Principal in both elementary and middle school settings with the Gulfport School District for the past five years.
