Grace Montessori Academy has an opening for a full-time early childhood assistant teacher in a 3-6 year old classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position during a calendar school year with the potential for employment year-round. Responsibilities are varied, and the position reports directly to the lead classroom teacher.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities and capabilities:
-Warm, kind, and caring individual
-Ability to work well in a teaching team
-Take feedback and direction from the lead teacher
-Love of working with young children
-Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
-Have the physical capacity to work with young children, such as sitting on floor and being on your feet for extended periods of time
-Preferred experience with classroom management
-Willingness to receive basic Montessori training

Hours are Mon-Fri 7:45 am - 3:45 pm following a school calendar. This is a full-time hourly position with benefits and pays $16-$18/hour.

Grace Montessori Academy is a Christian school. All employees are expected to support the Christian Montessori concepts in the classroom.

Remember, multiple family members can complete volunteer hours simultaneously! (10 hours required per year per family)

The school will provide most items, except any power tools (w**d whackers, leaf blowers, and power washers), wheelbarrows, and garden gloves. If you sign up for a job that needs these, please bring yours from home.
