We support greater use of resources from utility associations, allied non-profits, government programs, and grassroots volunteers. And we celebrate your contributions to transforming community-based utilities for the 21st Century. Check out Clean Energy Ambassadors services:
• Cleanenergyambassadors.ning.com, where we update news, resources, and fun findings frequently—and you can, too
• Monthly, free lunchtime webinars, on topics from “how to reach small business customers,” to “how to make energy audits more cost-effective”
• Leveraging existing resources—for example, supporting training to help you use Western’s Energy Services infrared camera loans or case studies that follow up on utility DSM themes.
• Presentations at statewide or regional meetings
• Specific expertise in working with public participation and community-based programs
Unlike conventional energy supplies, energy efficiency requires “human resources” in order to work. At a time when utilities and local governments are short-staffed, public involvement in the marketing and implementation of energy efficiency programs is key.
