Join my nine week series of free classes and learn how to make quick and healthy meals for your family. Our federally funded grant program is free for people who feed children or will have children in the future and receive/qualify for programs such as WIC, SNAP, TANF, Head Start, etc.
The online classes are 60 minutes. I have a couple of scheduled classes but I can teach you one on one if those times don't work with your schedule.
The in-person class is held on Wednesdays @ Family Service from 10-11:30am. A may possible be able to add an afternoon class if the morning class does not work for you.
Each week we cover a different topic such as: My Plate, food safety, reading labels, feeding children, shopping and menu planning, mindful eating, knife skills and how to become more physically active.
In-person classes will prepare and taste a recipe each week while online classes get to watch the recipe video. You will receive small kitchen gifts for each lesson you attend.
