Eek! It's already August! Mrs. Smith will be getting the classroom ready in these next few weeks. Watch for mail from us sometime this month. Mrs V and I can't wait to see our students again and meet our new friends. Hope you all are staying cool in this heatwave ☀️

I'm thinking of you all and hope everyone is making it through this extreme weather! These are the times I'm glad our school is in a cool basement😁 (The upper lever of my house is a furnace. Ugh!)
Our summer is 1/2 way over. I've been missing my young friends and look forward to seeing you all again after Labor day.

July is my professional development month. I've got three on line conferences in a row! I started with the kinder Kickstart. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Jean who's is a fingerplay/song guru😜
I love learning fun new ways to reach the students or just being reminded that I'm already doing a lot of the things I see.😜 Next is an autism summit!

Happy 4th to our PreK family! We're almost 1/2 way through our summer and looking forward to fall!

Happy Dads day to all of our preschool fathers!

And thats a wrap on another year of prekindergarten at ALC. It flew by too fast. We're excited for the adventures the students will have in the fall and can't wait to see how much the preschoolers grow over the summer.
Side note: I attended a high-school grad party for Mrs V's oldest and celebrated her youngest preK grad with me this week. She's a bit busy this season 😆

I'm NOT complaining about the rain that we need. But it put a delay on our park playdate this morning to celebrate our prescholers becoming our prekinders. We'll plan for next Tuesday instead.
