This past week, a multi-disciplinary MSUB student group had the privilege of working alongside more than 80 peers from Europe and Africa to develop process improvements and technological prototypes for a major hospital in Antwerp, Belgium. Our students had an amazing time making international connections, learning how to work in a multicultural environment with a very diverse team and exploring a beautiful northern European city. We are so grateful to AP Hogeschool Antwerpen for inviting us to participate in this excellent program! The photos cannot do justice to the growth these students experienced or to the beauty of this city. We can't wait to join the International Collaboration Week again in the future!

MSUB and management students toured the Salsa Jeans factory to gain firsthand knowledge of the business to aid them in their international expansion plan proposal to bring Salsa Jeans to the U.S.

If you plan to study abroad this summer or fall, consider applying for a Gilman Scholarship - applications are now open.

The Gilman Program provides merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to talented American undergraduate students with high financial need (Pell Eligible) to study or intern abroad. Dependents of active or activated U.S. military personnel who are receiving any type of Title IV financial aid are invited to apply for the Gilman-McCain Scholarship, which provides $5,000 to study or intern abroad.

Students taking STEM classes or studying languages important to national security while abroad can apply for additional funding.
