💙✏️📚 TEACHER TUESDAY 📝🖍️💛

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on our powerful PE Teacher: Paulette Gershmel 💪🏻

Position: Health Enhancement
Why I love my job: I love the human body and what it can do! One of my favorite things is to teach kids how to take care of the “only” body they get in this life and all the super cool things their body is capable of. It is so gratifying to see kids start to understand that they are in charge of what they put into their bodies, how they move it and what they can do with it when it’s taken care of. I have always had a love for being physically active and I love to share that passion with my students.
A fun fact about me: This is my 28th year teaching PE. I love exercising, supporting my daughters on the wrestling mat and being with family and friends. I am a HUGE Montana State Bobcat football fan and have held season tickets for 15 years. Go Cats Go!!!!!

💙✏️📚 TEACHER TUESDAY 📝🖍️💛

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on our lovely Librarian, Ms. McHugh!

Name: Kourtni McHugh
Position: Librarian
Why I love my job: I love books! I love getting to share stories and books with students. It's so fun to laugh over a book all together, or share observations and opinions about the illustrations, characters or plot. I also love that the library is the center of the school and a welcoming area for students and staff. I really enjoy getting to do Makerspace May at the end of the year where we focus on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) activities.
A fun fact about me: In addition to loving to read I enjoy traveling with my sister, running, working out, and hanging out with my cat, Wallace.

💙✏️📚TEACHER TUESDAY 📝🖍️💛

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Instructional Improvement Specialist, Mrs.
Bishop!

Name: Sally Bishop
Position: Instructional Improvement Specialist
Why I love my job: I get the joy of watching both students and teachers learn and grow! As an intervention teacher, I get to help struggling students learn new concepts and gain confidence. At the same time, as an instructional coach, I get to work with all the amazing teachers at Central Heights! I am grateful every day for their willingness to work together and to learn new things in order to do what is best for our students.
A fun fact about me: I have been able to do quite a bit of international traveling because my brother lives overseas. He’s lived in Croatia, Germany, and Dubai. I have been able to visit all those countries plus many more.
