🌅 On Venus, a day is longer than a year.

It rotates so slowly (243 Earth days) that it actually completes a full orbit around the Sun (225 days) before finishing one spin. It also rotates backwards. So the Sun rises in the west.

AND it has no moons.

Venus is the weirdest planet. Look for it just after sunset — it's the brightest thing in the sky after the Moon. 🌟

🌡️ Venus is hotter than Mercury, even though it's farther from the Sun.

Its thick CO₂ atmosphere traps heat in a runaway greenhouse effect — 465°C, day and night, forever. Every spacecraft we've sent to the surface lasted only hours.

Meanwhile, Venus looks gorgeous from Earth — the brightest object in the sky after the Moon. 🌟
