It was a fun afternoon celebrating the amazing work from Josh George and his juniors who built the karts!

📣We are proud to announce that MSU Billings Workforce and Montana Center for Inclusive Education received a $100,000 grant from the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education to address behavioral health and developmental disabilities needs in the workforce.

This funding will help create micro-credentials for workers who provide care in clinics and facilities to address the shortage of behavioral health professionals.

Thanks to Pete Buchanan, Director of Workforce Development and Community Education, and Amanda Stonerock, Director of Montana Center for Inclusive Education, who recognized the need in our region and collaborated to secure the grant.

We are excited to see the difference this will make in our community!💛💙

Sign up for summer learning and fun in Drone Camps!🚀

June 22–26: Girls Drone Camp (3rd - 6th grade)
July 27–31: Middle & High School Drone Camp
August 17–21: Co-Ed Drone Camp (3rd - 6th grade)

Throughout the week, participants will:

Build and assemble a working drone
Practice electrical soldering and wiring
Learn FAA safety fundamentals and responsible flight operations
Conduct supervised flight missions
Collect aerial imagery and environmental data
Analyze real-world data using GIS tools
Apply drone technology to solve community-based challenges

Our Cyber camps for middle schoolers encourage tomorrow’s thinkers, makers, and problem solvers to build real skills through hands-on learning! No prior cybersecurity experience is required!👩‍💻👾

It was wonderful to recognize some milestones at the end of term for faculty and staff! 💛💙

Many thanks and well wishes for Greg Gerard of Disability Support Services and Dr. Connie Haan as they move on to new adventures in retirement! 🎉Greg has supported students at DSS for 11 years and Dr. Haan has been a leader on campus teaching A&P helping prepare future nurses and other healthcare workers for the past 3 years.

We will miss them at City College but know they will continue to make a difference in our community!

We also celebrated City College Dean Gagnon’s new role as an appointee on the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Commission.🎣
