Ember was NOT impressed with Ms. Steph when she couldn’t pick her up right away… so she decided to give her this little face instead. 😂❤️

I mean, how are you supposed to say no to those eyes and that pout?! 🥺😂 She definitely knows how to let Ms. Steph know exactly how she feels!

Sweet girl has us wrapped around her little finger! 🌻💕

✈️☀️ We had some pretty excited kiddos this week!

The kids got to stop and watch the Blue Angels flying around in the sky, and of course they had to find the highest spot on the playground so they could get the best view! 😂💙

There were lots of “LOOK!! THERE THEY ARE!” and excited little faces every time they flew by. 🥰✈️

Sometimes the best part of the day is getting to stop what we're doing and enjoy something exciting together! 🌻💛

📚💜 A little quiet time with a good book!

Aura found herself the perfect cozy spot in our reading area and was completely focused on her book. 🥹📖 We love catching these little moments when the kids choose to slow down, get comfortable, and explore a story all on their own.

Look at those little feet kicked up too! 😂💕 She was definitely comfy! 🌻

🌻 Center Update 🌻

We wanted to give everyone an update on where we are with opening our new center. ❤️

On Thursday, we had our final inspection with the city. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes picture from the inspection as the Fire Department and Building Code went over the architect plans for the center. 🏗️📋

Our plumbing inspector had already come out on Monday, and we are happy to say that we passed our plumbing inspection! 🙌🎉

Unfortunately, we didn't pass the entire final inspection just yet. We have a couple of smaller things that need to be taken care of, along with having a test and balance completed on our HVAC system.

We are definitely sad that this means we won't be able to open September 1st like we had hoped. With the new licensing system, we need to open on the 1st of the month so everything transitions correctly. Because of that, we are now working toward an October 1st opening! 🌻❤️

The city is very particular when it comes to the final inspection, but we understand that everything needs to be completely ready and safe before we can welcome all of our kiddos into the building.

We are working on getting everything completed as quickly as we can so we can have the city come back out, get that final approval, and finish up our licensing paperwork.

We are SO close! 🥹❤️ It has definitely been a long road getting here, but we know it will all be worth it when we finally get to open those doors. Thank you to all of our families for continuing to be patient and supportive through this whole process! 🌻

Tomorrow at 10:30 AM, the center has its FINAL inspection!! 🙌🌻❤️

It has been such a long road getting to this point, with so many ups and downs along the way. We are SO close to finally opening the doors to Sunflower Academy! 🌻🥹
