Congratulations to Ava Noble, a senior in Shawsheen's Medical Assisting program, for being featured as the March Co-op Spotlight student.
Ava is gaining valuable hands-on experience at New England Women’s Health, a longtime Shawsheen co-op partner. Through her placement, she has had the opportunity to learn directly from physicians and nurse practitioners as she prepares for a future in women’s healthcare.
At Shawsheen, Ava is also a varsity soccer and lacrosse captain, girls basketball manager, yearbook content director, and a recipient of the Citizenship Award.
We are proud of the leadership and determination Ava brings to both her co-op placement and the Shawsheen community.

Culture, community, and connection will be on full display at Shawsheen.
Hosted by the Multicultural Student Association, the fourth annual Culture Fair will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Families and community members are invited to help celebrate the many cultures represented within the Shawsheen community.
Students may be asking staff and community members to serve as event sponsors. Sponsors help welcome families, assist with country tables, share a simple recipe from a featured country, and stamp passports as participants explore each station.
Shawsheen is home to 103 multicultural students, many of whom are multilingual. The Culture Fair is an opportunity to learn from one another and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our community
