🎉 Welcome to Swan River School, Ms. Deniece! 🎉

We are excited to introduce Ms. Deniece, one of our new Special Education Paraprofessionals, to the Swan River School community! With years of experience in education, Ms. Deniece is looking forward to getting to know our students and faculty and supporting our students throughout the school year. 💚🖤

Ms. Deniece had a wonderful summer visiting family and doing plenty of reading. One of the books she enjoyed was The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. 📚

When she’s not at school, she enjoys traveling, reading, and attending plays. She has also had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places, including China, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and different areas of Mexico! 🌎✈️

A few more fun facts about Ms. Deniece:
⚖️ She worked in the legal field for more than 20 years.
🎭 She loves opera and ballet.
👨‍👩‍👧 She is a proud mom, grandmother, and loves spending time with her family.

Ms. Deniece is especially excited to be working in the Bigfork area and becoming part of the Swan River community.

We are excited to introduce Mr. H to the Swan River School community! With 10 years of experience in education, Mr. H is joining the Warrior family and is looking forward to getting to know our students and becoming part of the SRS community.

When he’s not at school, Mr. H enjoys landscaping and traveling. His summer highlight was an unforgettable Mediterranean cruise!

A few fun facts about Mr. H:
🌍 He loves to travel and has some pretty incredible stories from his adventures!
✈️ He has visited the Middle Pyramid in Egypt and even had the opportunity to be inside the sarcophagus of the mummy!
🌲 He lives right on the Swan River!

Mr. H is excited about the school year and, most of all, about getting to know our students.

🎉 Welcome to Swan River School, Ms. Stam! 🎉

We are excited to introduce Ms. Stam, our new Special Education Teacher, to the Swan River School community! With three years of experience in education, Ms. Stam is excited to join the Warrior family and, most importantly, meet her students! 💚🖤

Ms. Stam had a pretty incredible summer, including surfing and seeing wild horses in the Outer Banks of North Carolina! 🏄‍♀️🐴 She also enjoys spending her free time downhill and backcountry skiing, indoor rock climbing, and swimming.

A few fun facts about Ms. Stam:
🥾 She has thru-hiked three long-distance trails!
🏔️ She loves exploring the outdoors and adventure.
📚 Her summer reading included Wilderness Years by Linda Nijlunsing.

Ms. Stam is looking forward to the school year and getting to know the students, staff, and families that make Swan River such a special place.

🎉 Welcome Back, Mrs. Weimer! 🎉

We are excited to reintroduce Mrs. Weimer to the Swan River School community! After being away for a year, we are thrilled to be welcome Mrs. Weimer back to SRS as our Music and Library Teacher! 💚

This summer, one of Mrs. Weimer highlights was surfing on the boat and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster. Additionally, when she’s not at school, she loves spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, and enjoying Montana’s beautiful surroundings.

A few fun facts about Mrs. Weimer:
🌎 She has been to three times more countries than states!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 She has six siblings!
🏄‍♀️ She loves wake surfing and anything outdoors!

When asked what she is most excited about this year, Mrs. Weimer said she is looking forward to seeing our students, staff, and families and couldn’t be more excited to be back at Swan River.

We couldn’t agree more! Welcome home, Mrs. Weimer! We are so happy to have you back in the Warrior family! 💚🖤

🗓️ Middle School Fall Parent/Player Meeting: Aug. 17th, at 5:00 p.m. in the MS Gym
🗓️ 6-8 grade Cross County practice begins Friday, August 21, 2026. Times and locations to be announced at parent/player meeting.
🗓️ Volleyball practice begins Monday, August 24, 2026. 7th grade from 3:30-5:00 and 8th grade from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! ☀️

Things are starting to gear up here at Swan River School, and we can't wait to welcome our students and families back! Our staff has been busy preparing classrooms, hallways, and learning spaces for another incredible year.

Before long, our halls will once again be filled with smiling faces, laughter, learning, and Warrior pride. We are excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to making it our best one yet!
