What a journey! I’m glad she is now being taken care of and the student made the hard but right choice!

I’m grateful for the gecko! I have since checked and it is a female! I also want to emphasize that I’m proud of the student. It was just such a chaotic day and surrender haha!

I was definitely expecting her to come with more! But I worked with what I had!

It’s been a journey! lol I’m glad I’m able to provide him with the right conditions for him to thrive.

I’m glad she made the hard decision to surrender him… But given that he didn’t have much with him, I had to do a frantic last minute stop to the pet store. Thankfully, I I had a 40 gallon tank, which was my ball pythons previous enclosure before he got upgraded to a 5 foot enclosure.

He is in safe hands now and regardless of whether I keep him or not, I’m going to make sure he has everything he needs. (but I’ll most likely keep him as he’s doing phenomenal right now).

This little bud didn’t even have clothes on his back. 😭

Thankfully, I had the proper size enclosure since I upgraded my ball python. Though I had to do an emergency trip to the pet store and got the basics because the only other thing that came with him was a small feeding dish.

People are more than willing and happy to donate to a classroom! When I first started setting up my classroom with animals, I bought a lot of stuff… Of course I’m happy to do that because ultimately they are my classroom pets that I chose to take on, but there’s a lot of things that I’ve gotten for free. For example, aquatic plants and animals can add up and I’ve always been able to get those for free! Go to your local hobby Facebook group and ass. This time around I cross posted and got about 20 replies so I’m doing all the pick ups this coming week.

This is a good problem to have… But I’m running out of ideas for support! Send help!

A few months ago, I posted that my Monstera was thriving… it was a new plant and was growing at a fast rate… Somebody said it wasn’t thriving.

Would you consider this thriving now? 😂

I know that I’ll likely have to replant this, but I’m nervous!
