Over the past three days we have worked to get the concrete slab down on our building addition. Coaches Dathan Davis and Randall Lawson have put in countless hours late into the night to help make a reality. Thank you to community supporters Mark Deahl, Robert Petry, and Briddick Davis. Huge shout out to Dallas Kennedy for giving his wisdom on how to do all things concrete on this job. When this is all said and done we will have a 6,000 square feet facility!

Bear Fans,
We will start pouring the concrete slab for our building addition this week. We need volunteers to help with being some additional helping hands over the next few days with what we have going on. They will be working starting at 8:30AM on Wednesday-Friday. If you are able to help any of those days comment and let us know.

The addition to The Den is under roof. I want to say thank you to everyone who has been volunteering to help make this possible. It takes a village! We cannot express our gratitude enough for Coach Dathan Davis and Coach Randall Lawson. They know their stuff and they have been present in every aspect of this addition from the ground up. They are single handedly sowing into the future of wrestling in the Union community. We appreciate U!
This is going to be one of the premier wrestling facilities in our area!

Year five of Roanoke camp is in the books. Thankful to be able to coach a great group of young men. Thank you to Coach Yetzer for always talking to our group and thank you to now Noke wrestler and UHS alumni Canaan Spears for hanging with our crew. Thank you to all our Bear supporters and parents who helped make it possible for our wrestlers to be able to attend.

Going into the last session of day two. Guys are working and putting the time in. Appreciate Coach Yetzer pouring into our guys. Also good when an alumni and Roanoke wrestler still checks in on our guys.

Trusses are up! It’s exciting to see how this is progressing which will double our current space. Thank you to coaches Dathan and Randall for heading the addition. Thank you to Coach Hammy and Coach Thomas for helping out today. Shout out to Eddie Wampler for operating the boom. It’s an exciting time to be a Bear Wrestler.

Huge shout out to our middle schoolers Isaiah Dearry and Kenyan Mullins for coming and helping knock out the grass at The Den. Wrestling builds skills and character beyond the mat.
