Due to the ongoing renovations, we need to change the location of your artwork pickup! Artwork will be available for pick-up starting Wednesday, the 12th of August at the Anthony Hunt Library located on the Howard College Campus.

📚That's a wrap on our 2026 Summer Reading Program!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer and helped make today's Closing Celebration and Art Show 🎨such a wonderful success.
We are incredibly grateful to the Dora Roberts Foundation, the Friends of the Library of Howard County, Howard County, our community partners at the Anthony Hunt Library and The Northside Movement for allowing us to use their spaces so we could continue serving our community as we undergo renovations.

Reminder! There will be no Storytime or Teen Art on Tuesday, July 28.

Join us on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Hunt Library for our Summer Reading Closing Celebration featuring an amazing special presenter, followed by our Summer Reading prize drawings. Then, at 11:30 a.m., stay and enjoy our Kreative Kids & Teen Art Show showcasing artwork created by our talented participants this summer.

The renovations at Howard County Library are moving along. As we make progress, we need to temporarily close the library from August 3rd-19th (dates may also be subject to change). During this time, we will be offering only limited curbside services such as faxing, copying, and book reservations. Some parts of the collection may not be accessible; we will do our best to fulfill any reservation requests. Please allow staff 24 turnaround. Patrons can ring the doorbell or call ahead for assistance. We will post any changes on our page; you can also give us a call if you have any questions.
