Tomorrow! We will have a quick party after our awards then attend the 3-5th grade assembly. I’m providing donuts and plates. Feel free to send in anything else!! Early Release tomorrow at 12:00 for cars and 12:18 for buses……and then it’s officially SUMMER TIME!!!!

Field day tomorrow!! Parents are welcome to join us for the fun, but must remain in the stands! 2nd - 5th grade will go from 9:40-10:45. Kona Ice will also be on campus! You are welcome to sign your kiddo out after field day if you would like. They don’t need a backpack tomorrow….Just Kona Ice money and their FAST shoes!! 😉

We made lemonade and all of 2nd grade got to spend an hour on the bouncy houses for getting 2nd place in the Wildcat Cup! You earn points for the Wildcat Cup for good grades, attendance, and no office referrals!! We’ve rocked those grades and no office referrals, but the sickness has definitely made its rounds this year!! What an awesome LAST Fun Friday in 2nd grade!

Last 10 days of School and we are going out with a “BANG” How are we here already?! This school year has flown by! We will pop a balloon each afternoon and it will have a “surprise” for us to do / complete the next day! Tomorrow is wear silly socks and leave your shoes off in the classroom all day!

Only a few Fun Friday’s left in 2nd grade! This week we’ve been learning about arrays as repeated addition / multiplication. Today they had to work together with their partner to create arrays and write the multiplication sentence to match! We’ve also been using books about Sharks to learn about non-fiction text features, so they had to work together with their groups to save their sweet little seal from being eaten by the Shark!
