Attention UREC friends and family! Spring session 2 of swim lessons is here! We will be offering 4 levels again, emphasizing water safety, basic strokes, endurance, diving, and stroke refinement. Classes will be offered on Sundays and Wednesdays starting March 18th – 29th. Then, starting back up April 8th – 19th, all lessons are offered as group or semi-private lessons. Attention Ferris State University Recreation families! Swim lessons are coming back soon! Starting February 1st, we will begin offering in-person group and semi-private lessons. There are 4 levels in the program, and as the level increases, so does the difficulty of the new skills. Level 1 is our baseline, and there are many open spots in this level. Levels 2, 3, and 4 still have available spots, but they are filling up quickly—register now to secure your place. UREC patrons, we are now open for the spring semester! This week, from Monday, January 5, to Friday, January 9, hours will be reduced. We will be closed on Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11, before classes start. After that, on Monday, January 12, we will reopen to normal hours. We hope you all enjoyed your holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you all again!

Here are the rest of our IM champs for the semester. Our B-bracket volleyball champions, Here to REC Your Day and Tiki Taka FC, are our indoor soccer champions. Thank you all for another great season of intramurals. We look forward to seeing you all back in the spring semester for another season of IMs and another chance to take home a shirt!

Congrats to a few of our winners from the Winter semester! The basketball A-bracket team, Airball Anonymous, took home the shirts, and the B-bracket basketball division was won by the team TPC Katke. For volleyball, the team Setting Ducks are your A-bracket champions!

FSU students, BeYouLifeStudio, and Kandi Wyss are offering another FREE yoga class at the SRC, this Sunday, November 16th, at 3:30 pm in the fitness studio. Be sure to register via the QR code above. No matter your experience, this class is for all levels and is a great way to relax and unwind after a long week of classes!

Attention Big Rapids community members and Ferris State faculty and staff! This yoga class is for you! Starting this Friday, November 14th, at the Racquet and Fitness Center, Kandi Wyss and BeYouLife Studio will offer a one-hour yoga class for $20.
