The rose garden at Helen’s Garden suffered the loss of three rose bushes due to the harsh winter. Fortunately, we were able to replace the rose bushes with funds raised through One Day For Dogs! We were also able to purchase flowers and greenery for our newly added planter in the center of the garden, along with other botanical delights to enhance the aesthetics of the garden. Be sure to stop in and browse.

Helen's Garden is a tribute to our very first lady. A group of volunteers passionately cares for the garden each year to provide a place of reflection and solace for all who wander its aesthetically pleasing space. This year, One Day For Dawgs includes a fundraiser for this precious garden. With the collected funds, we plan to grace the middle of the garden with a welcoming centerpiece to fill the currently vacant space. We would also like to restore the southeast portion of the garden which has remained unattended for a length of time. For those wishing to donate to this lasting tribute, a link will soon be posted to the One Day For Dawgs Helen's Garden campaign. Imagine what could be....
