TODAY'S VERSE
"For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am." I Corinthians 15:9-10

TODAY'S THOUGHT
Paul was called to be an Apostle, not because of his abilities, talents, riches or strength, but because of the grace of God. He knew he had persecuted the church and felt he was the "chief of all sinners," but even though he felt he was unworthy to serve Christ, he also knew that God's love overcame and forgave his past. We need to come to the same realization of what God's grace has done for us. By God's grace we have a personal relationship with God to become all He calls us to be. By God's grace we are forgiven of all our wrong doing. By God's grace we are accepted and living with a purpose. All of us have a calling. All of us, in one way or another are totally unworthy of being one with Christ, but then it is God's grace that calls us, not our works. Today, believe what Paul did. Love and serve God knowing, "But by the grace of God, I am what I am." Thank God for His marvelous grace that He has so freely given us.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Father, thank You for all the mercy, forgiveness, hope, peace, joy and love that is mine as a result of Your grace lavished upon me IN CHRIST JESUS. I give You praise and thanks in the glorious name of Jesus. AMEN

Seeking forgiveness, as well as giving forgiveness, is an act of humility and grace from God’s heart to and through us. We need Jesus to be able to understand this humility and grace that comes to us through Him.

TODAY’S VERSE
They tell the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets, “Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. Forget all this gloom. Get off your narrow path. Stop telling us about your Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 30:10-11

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever been at the place where the last thing you want to hear is a word from God? You know, nothing like a “twinge of conscience” to ruin a “good time.” Who needs a sermon that meddles in our affairs? That is what the children of Israel felt like. They wanted to abolish visions and prophetic words from God. Instead, they wanted the prophets to tell them nice lies. They didn’t want gloom and doom. They didn’t want to live in the narrow way. Sadly, we can become this way. It starts slowly, like a frog in boiling water. If we knew the poisonous attitude we were cultivating was going to reach the boiling point we would never allow it to grow, but apathy never starts out that strong. It is subtle. It is an insidious process. We become too busy for Spiritual discipline of living in communion with Jesus. We begin to fill our mind with television, the internet, and other distractions. Work and other affairs begin to distance us from church and fellowship with other Christians. Our conscience slowly loses its conviction. We find it easier and easier to ignore that “still small voice.” Let me ask you, “Where are you?” “Do you feel far from God?” If so, who moved? God is always there, He has never left and His love for you is unconditional. Turn to Him today while there is time. Before your heart gets hardened, tell God how sorry you are. Repent, come back to God and you will find Him. He is ready to forgive you and restore you to a real and relevant fellowship with Himself.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, You know how far I have wandered from You. Forgive me and heal me from an indifferent heart. I desire today to renew my fellowship with You. Restore my heart. I want to hear Your voice. I desire to do Your will. Hear me dear Lord, guide and direct me I pray, in Jesus’ name. AMEN

Thank You, Jesus, for clothing Yourself in humanity, bearing our burdens and through death, You brought us new life. Take us from glory to glory into your image. Amen.
Where we are at in the fulfillment of prophecy and eschatology is not sure, but Jesus warned us to be watchful, sober and praying so that it would not take anyone of us by surprise. One thing for sure is we can tell who the bride is because she longs for Jesus and is crying out with the Spirit of God saying: "COME LORD JESUS! COME!". Put things in order we pray.

TODAY'S VERSES
Fools, because of their rebellious way, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all kinds of food; and they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:17–20

TODAY'S THOUGHT
There’s a picture of people in desperate need. They’ve become so sick they’ve lost all appetite. Their physical frame has dwindled away and they are just there waiting to die. And then it says, “They cried out to the Lord in their trouble.” My comment on that is that some people leave it awfully late to pray! But God heard even that last desperate cry. It says “He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
How did God answer that desperate cry for help? It’s so important to see that the primary answer of God to our need is through His Word, the Scripture. He sent His word and through His word He did three things: He saved, He healed, He delivered. Those are the three provisions of God’s mercy:
He saves from sin.
He heals from sickness.
He delivers from the power of Satan.
And remember, it’s through His Word. The Word is the way in which God primarily answers our prayers and comes into our lives. If you are in desperate need and call out to God for help, then expect help to come through His Word.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Oh Living Word of God, sometimes we can be so foolish in our thoughts, attitudes and actions that bring such negative consequences. When we look to You and see Your loving kindness and mercy and how You want to make us free through the truth of Your Word we can only repent and turn back to You. In Your name, Jesus, that's what we choose to do. AMEN.
