Today, August 24th, we celebrate the birthday of trailblazer, Marsha P. Johnson.

She was a revolutionary figure for the modern LGBTQ+ movement. She co-founded the Street Trans Action Revolutionaries (STAR) in 1970, which was one of the first organizations in the U.S. dedicated to supporting struggling q***r youth by providing them a home to stay in.

Today, she would've been 81 years old.
